Worth the drive from Nashville! We love Carl's!!! Amazing food and great service. Never left unhappy or hungry.
Highly disappointed in the staff here. Took too long for our order to come. I was told this was a great food place. But when I took a bite it was cold. Told the waitress, and she acted offended. I felt I and my friend, were keeping her from something.
For what I was looking for this is a 5 star, food and friendly servers 5 star! (for those not looking for local and honest the settings might take you aback)

Carl's Perfect Pig has the BEST ribs, hands down, from at least anywhere in the south east! I'll go one further though and bet they have the best in the country, I just haven't tried ribs outside of the south east. I'm not even a big BBQ lover otherwise, but WOW! When you try to pull them apart, the bone just pulls right out perfectly clean, before you can pull off a section. The meat is very tender and is easily pulled apart. Their ribs are HUGE and they actually give you a full rack or half, depending on what size you order, unlike other places that that claim to sell full and half racks. A full rack will feed our family of 4 easily, two of those being a preteen boy that eats us almost into the poor house and a grown man that can eat quite a bit. I get why they can keep the schedule and hours they have. It wouldn't matter if they were only open 2 hours for 5 days a week. They'd still have plenty of business to keep them afloat!
